I was a bit surprised at the last review left. You really need to put things into perspective. I respect your concerns, but the reality check is the amazing ptice of this system. I searched for quite awhile, some systems were just out of my price league, others I didn't like the specs. The world is not perfect and your complaints are a bit weak. I took advantage of contacting Customer Service, who were kind, friendly and helpful with all my questions. Decided to purchase. Item arrived promptly, easy set-up. The sound was amazing! I was really happy with this purchase. I have absolutely no problem with volume control. You may want to check out your computers volume control, or if you on a web site like [...], check their volume control. That is something I had to do to lower volume levels. Now for the "blue spotlight" maybe duct tape? There is one factor that assured me that I made a decent purchase. I have a 20 yr old son who hates everything I buy. He is also an evil demonic electronics critic and he loves the system for the price. Go figure? I feel very comfortable with bestpricebestservice. I have already recommended this system, and will purchase from them again! I am sorry that things didn't work out that well for you.

Reviewer: Tim Hildebrandt,
After using the speakers that came with my computer, these speakers are a HUGE contrast. The bass is incredible!! Huge volume, great sound, you could use it in a nightclub! (: The bright blue light that was complained about, isn't in fact even bright!!!! I would suggest these speakers to an everyday music listener. They cannot be beat for the price.

Reviewer: ....,
EXPERIENCE: My experience with this speaker setup has been a good one. The speaker system is switched on and off, via a power switch in the back of the sub. There is a blue power LED on the front of the unit to indicate when its on. The very top knob, is the "treble" control. The middle knob, is the "base" control. And the bottom knob, is the "volume" control.

I have the sub up against the wall, to the side of the tv. Both speakers are on either side of the tv, and the speakers power is plugged into a power strip. The first thing I did when I switched on my tv, is adjust the controls. I turned the tv up to volume level "50," as I feel this should be a loud listening level, I then adjusted the volume on the sub accordingly. I like to have the treble all the way up, as this system only gets so crisp.

I then cranked up the base all the way up. However, I noticed that the sub was performing noises when it shouldn't and it was overdriving a bit on some parts such as music. This was actually good news, as it meant that it was able to get pretty powerful for its 4" driver size! To prevent damage to the sub, I turned the sub volume down a little bit. Once I got the adjustments just right, I put in the movie Space Balls.

SUB UNIT: I only spent $28.00 dollars for this at Amazon. So, if I compare this to the sound of my $200.00 Logitech Z5300 sound system, of course I am going to be disappointed. However, when compared to the price I paid for it, and the fact it only has a 4" driver, I think it sounds incredible! Dude, I am totally not making this up, it really sounds great, and is a great addition to my shop tv system.

It doesn't really provide a real hard pounding base, which is good, as you don't need that for movies. Its more of a low tone base, so it gets real low, which is great for movies, and things like explosions going off. Do I think it goes as low as my Z5300 system? No, absolutely not, but does it need to? If you live in an apartment, you can't have a system like that, so you will have to be happy with this one.

SATELLITES: The smaller speakers are not capable of going as loud as my Z5300, or my home theater Sony system either. However, considering what they are rated to do, I think they do fine. Though I wish the treble could go up even higher with them, I am completely satisfied, and don't feel the need to return the unit. As far as how well these little speakers reproduce sound, I think they do quite well for their size. The mid-range does not sound half bad either and really compliment my system well.

CONCLUSION: In conclusion, I don't think this is the best sound system by far, its obviously a low quality unit. However, I am absolutely amazed at how much sound I get out of this speaker system, definitely worth the price I paid for them! I would recommend this speaker system for to be used on tv's, or computers in which you watch movies on. I don't however, recommend them for music listeners or hardcore gamers. 3 out of 5

Reviewer: M. Hindin,
The volume can not be lowered! It is set to a default volume that is just extreemly loud and I have no idea why they would ever do such a thing! This is not for a rock concert or band preforming on stage.. It's home theater/computer speakers. So if you want extreemly loud volume (ALL THE TIME) this may be for you but keep reading things get bad.

Quality is ok but since the volume is set to a default that is higher then any of the other 6 speaker systems I own the grain is just so much and makes the nasty hissing sound. There is no pop or negative sound feedback when connected to anything un-grounded but lots of hissing none the less.

Now for the worst part! The blue light on the sub woofer is so bright it blinds me. You have to have the sub not facing in your direction. In a very brightly lit room the blue light on this thing is still to bright and I get a lot of complaints. There is no way to dim it. There is no dimmer switch or any switch that can turn the extreemly bright light off. If you are in a dark room watching a movie you are really in trouble since the light is so powerful it makes a large glow when you turn it away so if you want it fairly dark you are going to have to hide this thing.

It looks very nice, really cool. That's the only thing good about it. I want to return it so bad but the shipping would be almost half the price of the speakers to send it back so I'm stuck with it.

If you need loud sound, are going to be in a very lit room with the sub woofer not facing you and in an area where no one can see it then maybe you would be ok.

That blue light is blinding. The people that made this don't think about the basics.
