I want to play my ipod at work through my work computer’s speakers. It has no itunes or anything but someone told me that you can just use some sort of cord to connect you ipod to the computer and use the comp’s speakers to broadcast your ipod audio. Anyone know what kind of cord I should use?
My husband would like to set up some speakers on the porch and connect them to the computer. The speakers are standard with speaker wire positive and negative inputs. What kind of connection or device do I need to connect that to my audio outputs on my computer?
I recently purchased the Logitech Z5300e speakers and I want to mount the rear speakers to the wall. What do I need to do this? Also how do you extend the cords? The speakers have an auxillary hook-up, but they hook up directly to the subwoofer.
I am traveling to Hungary and would like better speakers for music while I’m over there. I used to use my stereo and ran it through the aux but I don’t have room to take my entire stereo. I need some speakers that don’t have to be ultra compact but small enough to fit into one of my suitcases but also gives out a loud sound.
i have a 26lg30 lcd tv and i can’t find the headphone ports to connect my computer speakers. can anyone tell me where it is and how to connect them.
thnx
I recently got a really nice stereo, but sadly I’ll never use it as is. I don’t own any CD’s really, so I figured maybe they’d make really nice computer speakers. I was wondering what parts I would need (Link to a radioshack page for each part would be excellent. Someone I talked to IRL mentioned a stereo adapater (Cable? Or a part? Not sure) and a Stereo Patch Cable (Dunno what that is either).
The stereo itself has the two red/white input thingies on the front. Thanks.
I realized today that i could unplug the speaker wire that goes to my computer and hook it up to my iPod. Is there maybe a splitter available so that i could have it receive audio from that as well as from my computer?
The regular sound works fine, and the quality is great, It’s not because they’re overloaded or anything, because I can hear it with nothing playing at all. It’s just an ever so faint buzzing noise that doesn’t increase or decrease with the volume controls, and it’s coming out of both L and R speakers, and a deeper version of the buzz is coming out of my subwoofer.
What could cause this, and how do I stop it?
Thanks!
Everytime i play anything on my computer there is no sound but the sound works when i connect speakers or earphones??? any help would be greatly appreciated
