Wireless Sounds Great

These speakers are what I was searching for. They are small, sounds great and easy to setup. I used these while entertaining during the Holiday season. The transmitter is located in my small computer room at the front of the house, and the speakers are in a sunroom addition at the rear of the house. The computer room was loaded with kids playing X-BOX Guitar Hero and they did not interrupt the signal to the speakers. When I first set this up I was getting sporadic signal interruption until I switched channel settings for the best reception and I now get excellent sound. Anyone looking for 'stereo' wireless speakers that sound fantastic should look carefully at these.

Best Option for Wireless Audio (JBL = Professional)

Made a lot of research before buying this pair of boxes. Most of reviews argued about having so many cables in a wireless system. Without cables you can not have decent audio.
Audio quality is perfect. Transmission range is also great without interference. And they have a LINE IN plug which is very convenient.
If you are thinking about buying wireless audio, don't waste your money go for these babies. |
Ideal wireless speakers for my needs

These wireless speakers fit my needs perfectly, plus I got them refurbished but as good as new for only $120. Sound fine. Easy hook up. Look good. No problems at all.
I have them hooked up to a Yamaha RX 497 receiver that can play one audio source through them wirelessly in one area - the den or outside - and the same or a different source through 2 other wired Mission speakers in the living room. The sound is not as rich as the Mission speakers, but these JBLs are much smaller and I can easily move them from room to room or outside to the porch or balcony because they are wireless.
The magic of technology. I have a Squeezebox connected to the receiver too so I can hear internet radio and services like Pandora play wirelessly through these speakers using the remote control iPeng app on my iPhone to pick the sound source, control the volume, and turn the system on an off.
The system also plays regular radio, CDs, and phono. Haven't tried a home theater set up but there is no reason why that would not work.
Hook up was easy, a matter of minutes out of the box, no glitches at all. Plug the wireless transmitter into the receiver, plug one speaker into an outlet, connect the two speakers, worked first time and every time. Speakers have their own volume remote control.
The critics who say the speakers are not really wireless are correct but misguided. True wireless speakers would be battery operated with poor sound quality and short battery life. These are wireless enough. They do not have to be hooked up to the receiver. I play them in the den 20 feet from the receive, outside on the patio 40 feet away, and on the upstairs outdoor balcony 60 feet away. No problems at all.
Highly recommended. |

| Definitely would recommend these speakers. Great sound for the wattage and you can use 2 sets with one transmitter...put 4 speakers around the house if you like. Although not entirely wireless, you do get to eliminate one wire per set, and can use multiple sources of sound if you want. All in all, a good buy!! |

The hardest part of setup was getting every piece out of the box. The rest went so smoothly.
Several output sources, and all sound great (PC, Zune, XM Radio).
The patio has an awesome system now and we're very pleased with the quality of sound. |
