I am traveling to Hungary and would like better speakers for music while I’m over there. I used to use my stereo and ran it through the aux but I don’t have room to take my entire stereo. I need some speakers that don’t have to be ultra compact but small enough to fit into one of my suitcases but also gives out a loud sound.

The regular sound works fine, and the quality is great, It’s not because they’re overloaded or anything, because I can hear it with nothing playing at all. It’s just an ever so faint buzzing noise that doesn’t increase or decrease with the volume controls, and it’s coming out of both L and R speakers, and a deeper version of the buzz is coming out of my subwoofer.
What could cause this, and how do I stop it?

Basically, I’m taking a weeks vacation and am going to bring a laptop with, but don’t want to necessarily be hooked upto headphones or deal with the horror of laptop speakers.
I’m just looking for some small speakers, no sub or anything like that, that I can just toss in a backpack but will sound fantastic. Hopefully there is such a thing.

Tried to unplug speakers and restart computer.

I have been reviewing options for 2. 1 computer speakers, but I was looking to see some other peoples opinions here. I want to spend anywhere from $200 to $300. I don’t play video games on my computer, but listen to music, and want to play it loud.

It seems to be the trend that speakers designed for computers have two (or four, or five, whatever) satellite speakers (tweeters?) and then a subwoofer. Whereas for hifis it seems that you have two speaker cabinets, with a woofer and a tweeter in each.
what’s the deal?

It’s just a regular Dell computer. I have these Insignia speakers that were given to me. I play a lot of music on the computer. What speaker should I get that would give me really good sound off the computer?

My computer speakers will not play sound anymore. I have them hooked in correctly.
When I listen to music, the song plays but I can’t hear anything. I went to my volume control and the volume is the same as it always is.
The speakers make this weird noise when I turn the volume up to the maximum. It sounds like static.
What do I do?

Ok, well this question has been going through my mind for a while. But how would you position your computer speakers? I mean *angle* wise. Would you angle the two speakers to be facing you. . . . or angle them to be facing away from you?
